Product Details:

• Much like other natural materials concrete is porous. Although not considered a defect, non-structural hairline cracks are possible and may result from shrinkage as the concrete fully cures.
• Expect occasional rings to appear from unknown liquids or spills. Oils will leave marks when left on the concrete surface and should be wiped as soon as possible.
• Do not place hot objects on the surface as they may cause discolouration. Using a trivet is recommended.
• Using felt or rubber pads is recommended for the bottom surfaces of all objects left to remain on the surface of this product indefinitely, especially unglazed ceramics such as terracotta pots. Unglazed ceramics compete for residual moisture in the concrete and may cause discolouration.

Care Instructions: This product has been sealed with wax to provide protection against staining. Clean with a mild soap, avoiding acidic cleansers. Re-waxing this product with a beeswax or carnauba wax is recommended every 3-6 months.
